    wise up eyes, not to the stars

    but the space between

    wise up tounge, to the reaching of smell

    wise up soul, to the soul of the world's actions

    wise up men, to humanities heart

    wise up women, to your fellow vanguards


    wise up you wise; 

    wise above the vultures.


    wise up ghosts of war; 

    (slipping between the seams, blowing roots like balloons, flicking ships to the edge of the world, sitting on the rocking chair between mind and body, flailing in mother's arms... an eyelash teetering a thousand years on the edge of a sentence) 

    the moon is too pure to exist.


    wise down God,

    but not too far,

    not further down
